Most of the waste batteries come from car starting batteries, motorcycles, and electric assisted bicycles. With the updating and iteration of cars and the 3-5 lifespan of lead-acid batteries themselves, a huge amount of waste lead-acid batteries are generated. However, these waste lead-acid batteries contain acid of different capacities and toxic elements such as lead, which cause great damage to the soil and the external environment and cannot be directly landfilled. However, the internal acid and lead can be reused after a certain process of purification and smelting and serve as important raw materials in the production of new lead-acid batteries. Therefore, recycling waste lead-acid batteries can not only save resources, but also the recycled lead and acid can be used to manufacture new batteries, glass, ceramics, fertilizers, etc., thereby creating more economic value.

Crushing and sorting equipment is the first step of the entire recycling system. The equipment consists of crushing and sorting machines. First, the lead-acid battery is crushed, the acid is collected, and the acid is separated. Then, the plastic and lead metal are separated by gravity sorting. The subsequent smelting and purification are more environmentally friendly, and at the same time, the labor input and energy consumption in the recycling process are saved (after the broken lead particles are free of plastic and other impurities, the lead smelting step will reduce energy consumption and the tail gas will be cleaner)
Mingxin lead-acid battery crushing and sorting equipment takes the following steps to fully automatically mechanically dismantle and separate waste batteries:
Step 1.The battery conveyed by belt conveyor for Preliminary crushing
(900×1250 4 shaft shredder),the crushed lead particles, plastic particles, and lead mud will be sorted in the first step by the vibrating screen at the bottom of the shredder, and a part of the lead mud will be separated.
Step 2.the particles after the first crusher conveyed to the second crusher for smaller particles by screw conveyor.
Step 3. After the second crushing, the particles will enter the washing tank, and the light plastic will be sorted out here. The heavy lead particles and heavy plastic will sink to the bottom of the tank and be transported to the separation equipment by the screw conveyor for sorting.
Step 4.Finally, the difference in specific gravity between plastic and lead particles is used to separate the two materials with a shaking table to obtain lead particles and plastic particles without impurities.Lead particles can be smelted through a smelting furnace to make lead ingots, while plastic particles can be used for secondary use
Battery recycling plant is based on the advanced and reasonable mechanism process that can separate the LEAD and plastic from lead-acid battery. The purity of lead can get 98%.This process is an ECO-friendly method instead of pollution way that is based on burning and chemical processing.
