Lead acid battery recycling melting line in Albania
This project started in 2019 and is located in Albania, an Eastern European country. It is a smelting and recycling project for lead mud and lead plates obtained from waste batteries. The plant is a steel structure plant built in the 1990s, covering an area of 450 square meters. The plant is 30 meters long, 15 meters wide and 5 meters high. The smelting equipment used is a rotary furnace and a refining furnace. Natural gas is used as fuel. The rotary furnace has a processing capacity of 10 tons/furnace (about 4 hours per furnace, and the refining furnace has a processing capacity of 30 tons/furnace. The equipment production took 3 months and the installation time was about 3 weeks. It includes a rotary furnace, four refining furnaces, and matching air cooling and purification systems, such as settling chambers, cooling towers, dust collectors, and desulfurization towers.
