Lead acid battery recycling plant in Mongolia
This project started in early 2023. The planned processing capacity is 1 ton per hour for the crushing system and 15-20 tons per day for the smelting system. The smelting process requires two smelting steps to eventually reach 99.99% high-purity pure lead ingots (25KG/piece).
The process step like this ,first the waste lead acid battery broken and separated by crushing system and get the lead mud and lead particles,after the crushing system the lead particles and lead mud will be sent to the rotary furnace for the rough smelting,at this step the rotary furnace temperature must reach above 1200 degrees to convert sulfate lead back into oxide lead,the lead can get 95%-98% purity.at finaly oxide Lead needs to be refined to remove impurities such as antimony, copper, and tin,to get the 99.99% or more purity lead.
